Search Marketing Terminology

I have previously talked about the new revolution of search marketing as the first time ads are not irritating to the targeted person. On the contrary, they might be highly welcomed. The trick mainly was that the consumer (nowadays called “prosumer”), is being given an ad when they are actually seeking information, and therefore we are advertising for what people really want.
It’s getting increasingly interesting for me to get to know more about how this works, and how I can deliver ads that are more targeted and relevant to readers / users / audience.
I found this search engine optimization glossary, on the website of Apogee-Search. This is a search company who specialize in several SE Marketing techniques like Pay Per Click and affiliate marketing. It’s really interesting to see Google dominating the list with many terms starting with “Google”.
I also look forward to the future of the relevancy business, if one may say, and how we can truly get relevant and requested ads in domains other than www.
With Google clearly being the king of relevancy and its derivative advertising technologies, it is highly probably that something really big will come from them, especially after they bought Doubleclick.
